Beco Collective is an independent editorial index of boutique hotels — properties that are owner-operated, genuinely rooted in their locations, and chosen because we would stay there ourselves. No chains. No paid placements. No obligation. We earn a commission on some bookings, which is how the lights stay on, and we declare it every time.
Every property in the Collective is independently owned. We do not list hotel chains, branded flags, or properties managed under franchise agreements. A family, a partnership, an individual — someone with a direct stake in the experience you have when you arrive.
We write about places the same way a well-travelled friend would — with specific observations, honest opinions, and no promotional language. The Beco Take on each property is written from research and, where possible, direct experience. We do not reproduce press releases.
Affiliate links are labelled. Commission relationships are disclosed on every booking page. A hotel never pays to be included — curation is editorial, not commercial. If a property does not meet the standard, it does not appear regardless of whether they have reached out to us.
